The Researcher
I am Alex, herbal tea researcher and solo builder. This started when I was trying to answer one simple question: what does the actual clinical evidence say about the herbal teas I drink every morning?
What I found surprised me. The literature on herbal tea is a mess — cherry-picked studies, marketing-driven superfood claims, and genuine clinical evidence buried under SEO content farms. So I started researching properly: reading original papers, checking compound pathways, comparing TCM theory with modern pharmacology.
This site is the result. Every article is a deep dive into the science, or the TCM theory, behind a specific herbal tea or tea combination. I write from lived experience. I blend my own morning teas. I have been wrong about things before. But the evidence always comes first.
What You Will Find Here
- Western herbal tea — active compounds, clinical trial evidence, drug interaction data
- Chinese herbal tea — TCM meridian theory, herb combinations, modern compound analysis
- Health applications — evidence-based guidance for sleep, digestion, immunity, stress
- Brewing science — water temperature, steep time, extraction efficiency
How I Work
- Every article cites clinical trials or TCM classical texts
- Drug interactions and contraindications are always noted
- No sponsored content, no affiliate links
- When evidence is weak or contradictory, I say so
- TCM and Western science are treated as separate but valuable frameworks
